Melinda, my sister and I are just so pleased to see they have a Sheltie Rescue service in Japan. Chances are they would for other breeds too but it's so important that shelties end up with people who know how to care for them. I smiled when I read the breeder wants to remain anonymous, I imagine for fear of being criticised for leaving the dogs behind, but there wouldn't be a sheltie owner there who wouldn't recognise her dogs most likely. Poor woman, she must have gone through Hell wondering what had become of them. Poor dogs too, it bought tears to my eyes.
