Growth on pad of cat's foot

I was cutting my cats nails and I noticed that there is a horny growth on the tip of one of his pads. He only has it on 2 of his pads. I moved it around and it doesn't bother him. Does anyone have any idea what this might be?

It could just be a callus. Do you have a picture?

I've also had this w/my previous cats, for them it was just a callus, sometimes they form if the pad got scraped on a sidewalk, fence or other rough surface.

As long as the area is not sensitive, bleeding or increasing in size, he's not chewing it excessively and is walking normally on that paw, it's likely not an issue but doesn't hurt to mention it to the vet the next time you are in.
