Hi everyone - update

I am hoping someone remembers me. LOL I haven't been here in a few weeks. :sad: I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and suggestions for my dog Diego.

Diego went to live at a new home. We miss him terribly, and it was so sad to let him go, but he is so much better off and happy. In his new home in the country, he does NOT have to share it with cats and has fields to run in and not to mention boss of the house. The new owners keep in contact with me and let me know how he is doing.. which is fantastic!!

We felt so bad making the decision but now we are very happy we did for his sake. I felt he was getting a bum wrap here and now he is a spoiled pooch curled up sleeping in bed with his humans every night instead of a kennel to keep him away from cats.

We are getting a new puppy tomorrow. I will post pictures as soon as I can......this puppy is only 8 weeks old and sleeps curled up with kittens LOL so I don't think I will have to worry.

It's sad that you had to give him up. I had to make a similar decision like that with a cat when I was a teen, It was for his own safety but a definite low point for me.

It sounds like you got Diego a really nice forever home though, It's a good sign when the new family is giving you updates.
