Leg wraps or socks for a dog?

Hello,

I am trying to think of a way to keep Rudy warm this winter. He is 12 1/2 and has very little hair on his legs, thanks to flea issues this summer.

Anyone know of a way to "cover" his legs a bit? I've seen some boots and socks, but his feet are fine and I know he would hate it more if his feet were covered.

Just hoping someone knows of something creative, before I start experimenting. LOL! The only thing I have thought of to start with is a pair of child's stockings/tights, since his legs are skinny, and figure out a way to hook the legs to his harness and still keep his feet uncovered.

Thanks,
Diane

Do you knit? I think leg warmers for a pooch would be perfect!!
You will have to take a few pics of him modeling them though.

LOL no I can't knit or crochet! I tried to learn it from my mom, she was amazing. Wow, if she were here I bet she would make a neat set of leg warmers.

In the meantime, I found one site and I might try out a pair....they look like they might do the trick. They are called woofees.... http://www.woofees4dogs.com/photos.html

Thanks 14+kitties,

Diane

Here's a link to a site that sells booties and wrist wraps, maybe the wraps could work for you?

We used to buy baby/kid socks & cut the foot/toes out off them. (we did this to get Duke used to the idea) then my mom knit him some. but he was used to them

HTH.. maybe
