Still relatively new

Been a pets.ca bulletin board member for just over a year now with only 5 posts to date.

Am not sure how exactly to participate as my wife and I are the owners of a small independent retail pet food & supplies store in Calgary, Alberta and as such, I do not wish to step on any toes in these forums - am not sure what I may be allowed or not allowed to post. Our shop specializes in offering a wide variety of quality pet foods, treats, toys, gear, clothing and accessories at competitive prices with a growing focus on Canadian made and especially locally (Calgary and area) products. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated as we do offer some unique products not available anywhere else and being an independent allows us to source/offer unique items that chains/big box stores can't.

As for us personally, we currently have two wonderful male cats (Larry and Daryl - both rescues) who allow us to share a home with them, a veiled chameleon (Daisy) and a smallish freshwater tank with several fish and a couple of frogs. Have never owned dogs (one's kid's asthma is triggered by dogs), had a ferret (Willow) who lived to be a very healthy 7 years before passing on, had a dwarf french lop bunny (Mugsy) as well as numerous hamsters, budgies and cockatiels over the years.

Anyhow, I will continue to lurk and occasionally post and welcome any PM's coming my way.

Regards,

Welcome, wanderer!

If you PM marko, I'm sure he can give you guidelines for what can be posted about your business

And we'd love to see pics of your furred and scaled companions!

Hi Wanderer,

Sorry, but I have to ask...
When are you getting the other brother Daryl?

Cheers and welcome.

I'm sorry but I was thinking the same thing! A friend of mine use to have 2 Goldens named Larry & Daryl.

Welcome to the forum wanderer and Hazel is right that if you approach Marko or an Admin, they'll be able to steer you in the right direction.

Would love to see some pics of Larry & Daryl!
