Our dogs do that too, kittygirl. Whether they're wet from being washed off or still wet from whatever rancid swamp water they've just gotten into!

So...where are the pics of Otis?

And you would want to discourage this relatively calm post-bath behaviour behaviour becuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzzzz.

In my world, *this* is it not noticed for fear that *they* will see it as a *good thing* in my eyes and become .

No, no no...far better to allow them to think they are being *they're bad selves*. ....

I am surprised because he can be quite an anxious little guy. It would be more like him to come out of the bath and bury himself in his blankets.

I coaxed him and praised him and took my time during the bath so he wouldn't start submissive licking. I've also learned that when I apply consistant pressure while stroking him down his back and across his rump, one hand at a time, he relaxes big time. Like a bit of massage.

And it seemed to work! Honestly I would welcome a few idiot laps and rubbing on the carpet once in a while.

DH took some of the scrub down but I didn't download them yet.
Here's Otis in his typical posture, we call this hidden dog.
