Lost puppy in Calgary - PLEASE HELP!!
Our brand new puppy - 5 month old Meridien - slipped out of her collar on March 5th at ~3 pm by the IKEA in SE Calgary. She was seen running in the area of Southland and Deerfoot Trail that evening. She has since been spotted at Fairmount and Heritage Drive SE at 7 am Saturday morning, possibly northwest of the Heritage C-train station at noon on Sunday, and possibly at the Safeway parking lot at Fairmount and Bonaventure Drive SE last evening (March 7th - 8 pm).
She is likely scared, hungry, and dirty. Identifying marks: Blue Merle (black, brown, and white); marbled right eye; 4 white paws, grey docked tail; approx 15 inches in height and was 28 lb. She is not wearing a collar, does not yet have a tattoo or a chip as we just got her that afternoon. She may respond to Merrie, Meridien, or puppy. Reward offered for her safe return!!! She's been found!
Thank you to you all for your wishes and concern. Meridien was found last night and turned in to animal services by a very kind lady. We are thrilled that she is coming home today!

How nice that somebody found her safe and sound and turned her in. Yay. I agree with Melinda, get thee a halter. You should be able to take her with you to a good pet store and get her fitted for one she can't slip out of.
