Yes, I feed this and Love it! (or my dog does) I like that it is one carb, one protein AND wild salmon.
It also has prebiotics and is Canadian.
Most of the other "hypoallergenic" food use "meat" as the first protein source (or potatoes) and this uses meal, so more bang for the buck!

Go Natural is a good brand and I'm sure if they state "wild" salmon then that is what they use. They are excellent at responding to emails so if you want verification then you should contact them:

I liked it but by Bag 2 my dawgs didn't ~ then again they were just coming off a raw diet.

We're keen on Origen ~ 6 fish now.

Orijen is also a very good brand. Rotating dog kibble is also recommended.

My senior samoyed is on this dog food alternating with California Natural Herring & Sweet Potato & raw. She has allergies to chicken. She is doing well on this diet. Her fur is thick and she hasn't been shedding as much as prior to this diet. Her energy level is great. The vet states that she has the energy level of a much younger dog. I like the fact that salmon oil has omega acids and is an anti-inflammatory. She eats below the recommended amount on the package. I suggest if your dog has a sensitive stomach to transition slowly especially if you are introducing a new protein.

Thanks for all the replies.

I have bought 1 small bag, and my dog loves it.

Acutally i am using it as a treat, lol. Because my dog is having obedience classes which using treat as reinforcement and i dont want him to eat so much other treats.

His daily meat is made of cooked meat, veg and little rice.

Too bad, Origen is not selling here.

If you are home cooking for your dog I hope you have done your research and his meals are balanced with proper supplements.

Where do you live that you can't get Orijen?

Oatmeal (& most other grains) are very poorly digested by dogs since they are not meant to eat them; the best digested grain is rice.

Although I am a proponent of grain-free diets, kibbles that contain rice, as opposed to oats & barley, for example, are better for dogs, since rice is 100% digestible. Digestibility issues contribute to GI problems, such as gas, diarrhea, & constipation. So, if those grains are not digestible, why feed a food that contains them? All grains do is provide a cheaper source of nutrients (protein, amino acids, etc.), since they are less expensive than meat sources.

Even some top-line dog foods contain oats, barley, & various other grains, but when I see those listed, I turn in the other direction. Aspen had GI issues from the Oats & Barley in Timberwolf Organics Lamb, Barley, & Apple formula; Goldie started having issues with allergies. When we went grain-free, they have had no problems since. Often (not always) gluten, which is found in grains, is the culprit behind many dog food allergies.

I am wondering if Petcurean the makers of Go! Wild Salmon & Oatmeal include oatmeal in the diet because it isn't frequently used as a grain. For an elimination diet having a unique protein & grain are advocated. If your dog has sensitivities to grains I would definitely not use this food.
The first ingredient in GO! is salmon meal & salmon followed by oatmeal and oat fiber then canola oil. There are 2 types of oats and this is called splitting.
www.dogfoodanalysis.com rates this food as a 5 out of 6 Based on this I tried it on Rose.
Rose doesn't have digestive issues with oatmeal so it works for us. :footinmouth:

Our 11 year old dog, Rusty, didn't do so well on this food. She had constant gas while on it and eventually started to vomit it back up. I'm guessing she didn't digest the oatmeal too well. She's now on a grain-free food (TO Ocean Blue) and no longer has gas or vomiting issues.
