hmm, i feel stumped btw Kitten Lover's Soul and Choice Complete Care Kitten

here are my thoughts according to ur top 5 postings:

#1 has chicken meal as its 2nd ingrediant, a no-no in my books.. i've heard welness is all about the veggies, now what animal's a non-meat eater? ... yes i read the 1st 2 ingrediants but they could be sparce among all those peas.

2 - chicken and salmon are first... and ahem, i can't read what the 3rd ingrediant is...

3 - ok, i CAN read that - chicken meal #1 *2 thumbs down*

4 - another no to eagle pack

and 5 - looks decent but the 2nd ingrediant is rice...

so i think for the time being, i'd pick #2 and see how much the kitten likes it.

I wouldn't go with #2 because its only a canned product. They would also need dry crunchies. Eagle is suppose to be a good brand. Animals thrive on any type of food. I give my cats Nutrition 1st President's Choice. My oldest is 16 yo and in very good health. I know a lot of people give their cats Cat Chow and thrive on it. It's all a matter of personal choice and if you have selection.

the dogs only get canned food on random special occations.

As I had mentioned in a previous thread, when I got Kaylee, she had severe colitis. At the time I was feeding her Nutro.. I mean this baby had diarrhea all day and night and constant gas, which stunk out loud...well the vet had me switch to wellness and told me to give it a week to work, and it did.
Her appetite increased and my house smells like a home again, not a sewer plant!!

I have also always used Nutrience... the Immune System one. All the cats seem to like it and I can live with the ingredients. Now the price is another story, but hey the little beauties are soooooo worth it!

and I just looked it's the Supreme formula for adults.

oh and I had to use the Diet once, as the girls were gettin kind of hefty when I was still working. It took one bag and they were slimmed right down! Now that I am a happy housewife, I just maintain their weight with good food and play time!

They have Nutrience Supreme Adult Cat Food in a self feeder bowl.
(Right next to the crystal water bowl oh and did I mention that these are both located ON the kitchen table...we had ants this year and after finding them crawling all over the food , I had to put it up off the floor...and it's not like we ever use the table anyhow!)
They get 1/4 of a can or pouch of wet food each every morning. Their faves are Fancy Feast Grilled Chicken (smells good enough for me to eat it), and the Wiska's pouches Beef or Chicken with Gravy.
They also get about 4-5 tarter control treats every night, and maybe a few extra on "Claw Clipping" day.

wAggie i wont use this product because it has Corn!!
if you do a search on the forum you will see that you should be staying away from Corn since it's cheaper than meat and most pet's are allergic to corn.

The corn is either protien or fiber, I forget which, but whatever it is, it is not digestable, so it is useless. The cats should not have corn in the first five ingredients of their food, either.
