2 missing beagles

I have lost two beagles in the Port Loring, Ontario area. We are offering a reward if they are returned to us. I have posted their pictures. Misty is a 13 year old female, tri-colour, very white in the face. Rocco is a 2 1/2 year old male, tri-colour, full black saddle, full brown face with thin strip of white down the nose. The last 3 inches of his tail are white. If you have seen our dogs of have heard of anyone finding a beagle in central/north ontario, please have them call 705-757-0134 or 705-487-1318.

I hope you find them soon!

Have you called all local spca's and shelters? Beagles can travel very far.

You may also want to list them on http://www.canadastrays.com/
Good luck in your search, and I hope you find them soon.

There is a Web site called Pet Detective operated by Melanie Pugh that may provide you with some tips - in the event you have not already done these things.

My heart goes out to you and I hope you find your beagles soon! (As a former beagle mommy - Mine is at the Bridge after a good life). I can't recall the url off hand but if you type in Pet Detective in Google, you will find the url for that movie (ugh!) and also Melanie's site.

Oops, this is it: http://www.pet-detective.com/ and this one is also good but has less info: http://www.katalbrecht.com/

Good luck!!!!

The suggestion on pet dectective is a good one. Hers is pet-detective.com and if you call her as well she will give you all the advise you can ask for.
She gave me all kinds of free ideas...not that we have found Sable but when
you get to a location where you think they are she has some good ideas for tracking and scenting them.
Best of Luck

Hi Janet with 2 lost beagles

Sorry Janet but the two I know of are not your's unfortunately. They are both between 1-2 yrs old, males. One is light beige and white and the other is tri-colour. I hope you find your two family members soon, and even though we are a bit away, I will keep an eye for them in this shelter.
Good luck and wishing them a safe return

I read on another forum that Misty the older female had been found, apparently she fell through the ice on a pond and perished, the younger male I could find nothing on.
