Wish my baby Mulder the best :D

After a long wait of over a month because the vet was overboooked she's finally getting spayed tomorrow.
I've been through this many times however I can't help feeling anxious, after all there's anesthesia involved and you know that always makes me go "gulp" if done to humans or animals.
Anyways just sharing this to get some good vibes for Mulder also known as "Bebe Loco" for her to go through a successful surgery and a quick recovery

Mulder. Don't forget, very important! Post-surgical care involves 10 days straight of snuggling, spoiling, and getting away with stuff.

Well we're back. Oh my she's pissed. She's never been aggressive really yet at the vet she got so mad they had to put a caution sign on her kennel
"Mad Elephant" no, but seriously she did get a caution sign.
Now she's here, she peed on her bed and makes angry sounds, I think that using staples makes them angrier because I saw another cat there super mad.
In the past I've always dealt with sewing not staples so I don't know if that's why or just her own reaction to the whole thing.
We'll see tomorrow

Aww, poor Mulder.
Hopefully it is just a reaction to the anaesthetic that will be gone by tomorrow.

Yeah could be. Now I'm worried because she sort of just fell over and is all lethargic after being awake, her breathing seems normal and she's not cold but she was semi-normal and all of a suden lethargic and if I pick her up carefully and put her back she just falls like a rag doll on the same spot so I don't like that

It sounds like they reversed the anesthesia and now the reversal drug has worn off. We tell them not to reverse our dogs anymore. We'd rather have them loopy and quiet all night than hyper...and it's always so scary when the reversal wears off and they just collapse. Can you call the vet clinic and ask if they used a reversal agent on her?

No, they didn't use reversal agent so now just to make sure I'm going to take her there I just dont like the way I move her paw and it just drops off my hand

Update she woke up but she won't get up, maybe I'm just super paranoid...
what should I do...
Probably take her either way? Maybe she's just sore

Update:
And I went there and she was more awake which made me look like a lunatic paranoid =D but it's better safe than sorry she's sore so she had medication for the pain and she's a bit more lively now.
Keeping an eye on her though

I always believe in better safe than sorry!!! At least she got a little more pain medication!

Hope you're both feeling better this morning!

Thanks to all of you

She's doing way better now. Did I mention that she ripped a staple off when she was at the vet and she had to get re-stapled >.<
So, they had to put a cone on her since she won't leave those things alone.
Aside that way better, more awake, she tries to jump up and down chairs and bed which I try to prevent as much as possible. Scully was scared of her with the cone on
Wound seems very clean so far, I have to clean it twice a day...
And here she is:

She's such a beauty! Glad things are going better today. Another few days and she'll be right as rain! When does she go back to get the staples removed?

June 1st she'll get the staples removed... Aw <3 that cute little shaved belly
What a relief to see her getting better, she's almost acting like nothing now, except I try to keep her without moving too much, and of course no crazy gorilla running with Scully. They like to run like crazy gorillas all over the place and sound like horses so big no to that.

The hardest part, no matter the species, is keeping the lil darlin's quiet for recovery 'Specially when they have a play buddy

But she'll do well

I agree is the hardest part. She's giving me a hard time jumping on chairs, stools, etc when I'm not looking. The lower end of the wound is slightly irritated but nothing of concern I think it does look a tiny bit more open compared to the rest.

And yes chico I feel bad that she has to wear that collar but like you say so necessary or else bye bye stitches. Today I let her rest off it for like 10 mins, my "Oba" (one of my husband's 1000 nicknames) scratched her neck gently for a while and she seemed soooo relieved and enjoying it so much, she had a super grooming session, water free of collar and then back to the cone again >.< Now she's sleeping.

Aw her jewels are having a nap
