Stark this morning

I know I don't post a lot of pictures of the boy so I thought I would share a couple of the boy playing in the yard this morning.

In the 2nd one he looks like he's saying "Hey ma, this is empty, I need my morning coffee!"

Hope you don't mind, but I made you a caption.

About 3 weeks ago I ran him up to the vet for a weigh in and measured him when I got him home: He weighed 77 pounds and was 23" high at the shoulder. He will be 8 months old on the 19th of this month.

He is absolutely stunning to watch move - he has a wonderful stride with lots of reach and drive. I can't wait to get him into the showring this summer! If he doesn't do well it will be the fault of his handler - me - and my inexperience.

Thank you all so much for the compliments. Stark send you all a sloppy wet rottweiler kiss!

Holy smokes!! What a big, absolutely gorgeous boy he is . He looks like a perfect ! Tell us more about his personality, LavenderRott. Is he cuddly? Loves big hugs and smooches? Gets on well with other dogs? Can he be bribed easily? Likes strangers? Long car drives?

Perfect angel!?!

He is going on 8 months old and a raging hormone! He isn't real cuddly, likes big hugs so long as they are short, will let Mom smooch him but is too busy to let other people smooch. He gets along great with other dogs and can be bribed so easily that we no longer use treats for training - I LIKE my finger tips! He loves strangers and long car rides.

If you are planning a puppy napping, you might want to rethink that. First, you have to get past little Rusty. While not dangerous - he is very loud! Also, I can guarantee you that he will fart in your car and you will need a gas mask to survive that!!

What a handsome boy. I love Rotties. It looks like you found yourself a very inexpensive way to amuse him too.
