Brothers get 10 years for cooking puppy in oven

ATLANTA - Two teenage brothers each were sentenced to 10 years in prison for torturing a puppy by cooking it in an oven.

Joshua Moulder, 17, and Justin, 19, pleaded guilty in January to charges including burglary, criminal damage to property, terroristic threats and cruelty to children.

The brothers brought neighborhood children to see the dead puppy, then threatened to kill them if they reported it, prosecutors said.

The brothers’ first trial ended in a mistrial in December. Their attorney, Timothy Owens, said he had hoped his clients’ sentencing would have focused more on rehabilitation than incarceration.

What boggles my mind is how these teens are able to do things like that... Where are the parents???
Where do they come up with stuff like that?? of course they should be incarcerated! what if it was a child they cooked??

when the other inmates find out what these morons are in for... trust me, they'll be walking funny when they get out in 10 years, which is far from enough IMO. there are many sociopaths walking among us. it's frightening. :sad:

It digusts me that there are people capable of that walking around. They deserve so much worse than just jail time.

I dug through a stack of papers and found it again..at least we have the satisfaction of knowing these young"men"will have plenty of time to think about what they did and probably pay the price in more ways than one unlike sadistic animal-killers in Canada.
