Pit Bull Bans

Does anyone know if there are areas in and around Montreal where Pit Bulls are officially banned? Or does anyone know which site I could check to see to see a list of areas? I've been looking for a site like that, but have only found those that have been updated in 2004.

Here's a list I compiled a couple of years ago because I couldn't find a complete Canadian BSL list anywhere.

Unfortunately, I don't have all the source materials anymore, and things may have changed some what since making that list, but it would certainly be a starting point from which you could look up specific by laws.

Thanks pitgrrl, I've taken a look at that site already, but I thank you anyway. I was wondering if you knew if Laval has regulations against Pits?

It doesn't appear so, but you can download the specific by laws concerning animals on their site:

Please contact the municipalities to find out or maybe the SPCA would have the following information.

Good luck.
