Montreal to Ottawa and back

Hi all, new here, help much appreciated.
I'm traveling to Ottawa with my granddaughter and would like to being my small 5lbs. 7month Yorkie... I can't seem to get through on phone to
Greyhound to ask questions...
I'm leaving a week from today ... for just few days..

Will grayhound take small dog in carrier?
Train?
If no option I will rent a car... but prefer not to, if possible.

Thanks much,
Elizabeth

The only dog you can bring on a bus is a service dog , I posted a link for you to read . If your dog doesn't have a microchip it would be a good idea to have one put in him if he happen escape by mistake .
