MY BABY CHLOE GOT HIT BY A CAR. Questions

I just found my 14 month old cat dead hit by a car. Its sunday morning. I got some questions. I saw her thursday night i put her inside, i have 2 other 4 year olds who go out back but never leave the yard and come in on comand. The 14 month old all black wouldnt always liscen. But thursday i put her inside. I had to go out and would be gone till satutday morning. Friday morning my mom comes and feeds them. Friday at nite comes to feed and take them out. I get a call she cant find chloe. Dont remember seeing her in the morning. And claims she didnt take them out yet. The time of her call leads me to beleave she took them out and spent a 1/2 hr looking. Chloe never left the yard ever so this would be a first. No way she could of got out of house all windows are closed. So i look all day saturday in my neighborhood and the woods. I live on a busy road and never looked down the road didnt want to loose hope. Daybreak sunday just past my neighbors driveway i see chloes body stretched out on her belly. Front paws extended back end twisted. No external injuries. A lil blood in mouth one eye open. Her tail still bushy. Stiff as a board. I want to know when she died. If it was slow. She looks like she made it a few feet off the road. Her nails were broken. It was between 40-60 degrees when she was gone and no bugs or animals touched her. Never being out i dont think she would of been out long but idk. Any help on if she died quick and how long please share. I miss her so much she was so beautiful and young

Loss of your pet

I give you my heart felt condolences. I know how you feel since I too have recently lost my pet due to a sudden illness. Eleven years was not enough time to spend together. I hope that this sadness can lead to happy memories while you wait to meet again.
