Thumbs up Francophone Books and DVD's For Dog Owners

I find it increasingly difficult to find up-to-date books in book stores here in Quebec...whether they be in English or French.

After some research for an adopting family today, I was thrilled to find these titles in French. Renaud Bray book stores are pretty good about ordering in books that are hard to find.

Books:

Les Signaux D'Apaisement - Turid Rugaas
J'Entraine Mon Chien Au Clicker - Karen Pryor
Jouer Avec Son Chien - Christina Sondermann
Les Emotions Des Animaux - Marc Bekoff
Comment Apprendre De Vieux Tours A Un Nouveau Chien - Ian Dunbar

DVDs:

Le Clicker Dans Tous Ses Etats - Catherine Collignon
Initiation Au Clicker Training - Jennifer Cattet
L'Education Des Chiots Sirius - Ian Dubar

Out of curiosity, can any francophones recommend any children's books about animals? We are expecting our 1st soon and I am building up a library. I have a lot of knowledge about English children's books, but I don't know of any good French ones. We'll be living in Quebec fairly soon (south shore Montreal), any bookstore recommendations? Indigo at dix30 doesn't have much in French for kids

Oops, just saw your post shibamom .

Whereabouts on the South Shore will you be?

Renaud Bray has a large chain of Francophone bookstores. There's one in Brossard on Boulevard Taschereau, facing the bus terminal. Another is located in St. Bruno. You'll find an amazing choice of books there for all ages. And if there's something you want that's not in stock, the staff there will find it for you.

Thank you luckypenny!

We will probably be in St Jean or Chambly so just a quick drive from Brossard and St Bruno! Thanks, we will check those out!
