Talking shih tzu odd behavior?????

Hi, I have the most adorable shih tzu puppy in the whole world, but he started digging into pillows and I think it's really cute and funny, he only does it on soft things like pillows or covers, does anyone know why shih tzu's dig? I heard this is typical of this breed, but I am really curious....

My dog does the same thing. I think it's their instinct to dig themselves a bed - the way wild dogs dig a depression in the earth to lie in.

Yes, they look adorable circling and digging their beds, but my dog is 70lbs and quite capable of ripping holes in my sofa, bed, etc.

Oh, well - it's only furniture right? Gotta keep the puppers happy!!

Hehehe, you can't always be sure how much they'll weigh when their finnished growing. The person I got my dog from said that Bentley would only weigh about 8 pounds full grown; now that he is full grown he weighs 15 pounds! But I wanted a "bigger" dog, and I've gotten one. Kind of. He isn't a "small" dog, or a "medium" dog, but he's inbetween.

I hope that makes sence.
