I just noticed this on my right hand menu of smilies - is this generic to the Board now or I wonder if it is due to my own spell check program???

I meant specifically this little icon at the top right -

If you don't have the IE spell checker and you want it, clicking on the ABC icon provides a link to get it.

Ahhh, ok Thanks Marko, I have a Google spell check - which I tend to forget sometimes (more often than I should in my haste - it is located at the top on a Google menu and is a similar to the abc icon at the right.) I do have IE Spell as well but have not installed it. I never clicked on that - sorry - just realized now it would have saved you from respondoing and from nme looking silly and wasting your time.

Spell check is LIVE!

Effective immediately - there is a spell checker on our BB.

You will notice the extra button called 'spell check' located right near the 'Submit reply' button when you create new threads, reply to threads etc.

If you notice ANY problems with the spell check please report them in this thread.

Thanks for your pachients (patience) and enjoy this new feature.

Marko, thanks so much for this!

I'm not quite sure how this works.. .
I made 4 or 5 intentional errors in this reply... but using the spell check ...the only word that came up highlighted in red and offering alternatives was your name.

What am I doing - wong?

Hmmm not sure - it seems to work pretty well for me.

How I used it was - I finished what I had to write, THEN clicked the Spell check button. THEN I clicked 'change' for each different mistake.

Feel free to do some tests in this thread.

Thanks and take care!

Marko
