Sebastopol Geese

This topic is probably way out there, but I need help.

My babysitter's husband bought a pair of these geese and he lets them wander all over the property. He does not clean up after them. My 2 year old daughter and their 2 year old daughter have been sick recently with diahhrea (sp) and I believe that it is related to the geese's fecal matter. I am at my wits end and will probably lose a good babysitter when I have to confront them over the filth.

Am I right to assume that the problem may be from the geese.

Desperately seeking answers.

I don't know what to say, but I do agree that the children's illness could be caused from the geeses' messes. I know birds of any kind can be very messy, and should be in some sort of cage/ pen.

I don't know where you live, but most cities ban living with such animals (I know where I live you can't even have tarantulas as pets..not that I would want one). By property, do you mean indoors as well as outdoors?

Geese can have some very contageous diseases, and worms, and viruses, and they should never be kept in a living area. It's ok to let them around once in a while, but they shouldn't be roming free. I would be concerned about worms mostly.
