How much homemade food per meal?

Hi,
My golden has severe allergies. Tried numerous brands - grain free, etc. Nothing is really working - she was on salmon & sweet potato blend but the vet said there is yeast between her paws. No sweet potatos!
I've started making her food - brown rice, cooked veggies, pumpkin, and alternating between beef and salmon.
How much should I be giving her per meal?
With the dry food at least I had a guide line.
She is 65 Lbs - watching her weight right - recovering from TPLO surgery.

Thank you!

I don't know if home-cooked and raw are different in how much to give, but with a raw diet for dogs, you give 2-3% of their body weight per day. Given the size of your dog (being a large dog), it'd be spread over two meals per day. If the dog is on the underweight side, increase it to 4% until the dog has reached a regular weight, then go down to 2-3% for maintenance. If the dog is overweight, reduce the amount slightly, starting at 2%, or 1.5%, until a desired weight has been reached.

Treats are included in this percentage, so keep those in mind.

Good luck in finding a diet that works for your sweetie!

I homecook for our dogs, but they don't get any grains, fruit or veggies. It's all meat with eggs, cheese and sardines added to some meals. It took a little bit to figure out how much to feed them, but not too long.
