thanks Breeze, well it went ok, one staple was turned backwards and gave him (dr Tropea)a little bit of a problem removing it and she has a slight fever so she's on a second antibiotic for 10 days and then a recheck, hopefully its not a reaction to the metal in her leg. There was one spot that was a bit puffy so he figures there is a teeny bit of infection in there, and she has the "ok" to sleep on the couch again. and I'm doing ok too now *LOL*

Good to hear that it went well enough Melinda. Big hugs to you and Brina for such a stressful morning. Brina's going to be so much happier now!

I am happy that things were not to bad for the staples there's always one or two that give troubles

hopefully the fever will go away quickly and Brina will be back to herself soon.

Lucky Brina she get the couch again!! does this mean that you melinda will be able to sleep in your bed again?? or do you have to still keep her in her pen for a couple more nights??

the antibiotics clear up any infection. Glad the staples came out fairly smoothly. Bet you're glad that part is over!

She's gonna love being able to sleep on the furniture again!
