Insurance for Cats in Canada

Has anybody had any experience with Pet Insurance in Canada?

I think I may need it as my 6 year old cat was diagnosed with feline lower urinary tract disease, took him to the vet today. He's doing well but I'm concerned about the future.

Already bought him the necessary food from the VET etc, but has anyone found Pet Insurance worth while? And does anyone know if FLUTD is covered down the line?

Hopefully the new diet will not cause any issues down the line.. Any advice would be appreciated..

Thanks

Hi Yamcha and welcome to the forum.

The problem with pet insurance.....is that they often won't cover you for pre-existing conditions or problems your pet currently has so the best time to get pet insurance is usually right when you get a new pet.
