Think I Out Smarted a Kitten. Maybe

I'm so proud of myself. One of the kittens discovered the push pins holding a calendar and notes on my bulletin board. Here I thought she was cosying up on the cat tree just to be near me. LOL, no, little devil is fascinated with the push pins. She can reach over and pull them out with her teeth or paws. After chasing her down to get back three pins I realized I'd have to do something. Plain old thumbtacks. She can't get them out, yet. They're hard for me to get out too.

I hope this works. Push pins land on their sides and it wouldn't be fun stepping on one. But thumbtacks seem to always land pointy side up.

Not to mention kitten swallowing one but so far all she has wanted to do is play with them.

Good thinking LB! Low tech thinking (versus gadgetry) is often the best

Then again...maybe kitty outsmarted you again.....this could all have been planned by kitty! - she may have needed those thumbtacks to finish building her time machine
