You know, I can't remember if that bear came before or after I started taking its name in vain.... I'd have to go back and check dates.

Well, I don't think we could ask for much better mods than Hazel and Growler. Thanks ladies for all your hard work, it seems we wouldn't get along nearly as well without someone watching over us. Job well done. Thanks to all the mods, even those who are not comfortable coming out as it were. It's your right to stay private if you prefer it.

Carnac, Blackbear..whatever. Alot of grief could have been spared a while ago. Just glad everything is out in the open and we can move on.

Now - one BIG question...what happens if one of the mods is on your 'ignore ist'? How does that work?

Thanks again for all the friendly posts

I need to do some additional tests but normally putting a Mod on your ignore list will not work for obvious reasons. Please PM me if there are additional questions related to this.

More posts on the moderating team and how we moderate will come soon. This thread is just to say hi.

Thanks again everyone!

Things get very heated, especially when people are so passionate about their beliefs, and their babies. I personally think that you two (Hazel and Growler) do a very good job at trying to keep things civil. I know I have had posts deleted, and sometimes am angry at the moment, but realize it's probably for the best

Thanks to you both for donating your time and effort (and taking a lot of abuse ) in trying to make this a friendlier place

I'm very glad to see things are toning down

Our Mod team as a whole is a really fun group as you'll likely find out in due time.
This type of speculation (who might be who) though is not productive in the least...Please trust that we are an honest bunch doing an honest job. The remaining Mods will reveal when they want to.

That said,

I will take bets but I want a piece of the action

Moving onto these 2 Mods,

I'd like to add that I've been working with HRP and growler~Gatekeeper for a few years already and there's just tons of stuff ( like crushing scummy porn spammers, moving threads to proper places, Pming new members) that they both do behind the scenes that members never know about. two thumbs up All our Mods help in this way and many other sometimes boring/sometimes not so boring ways.

Just joshin' ya Melinda.

It's only that we *were* keeping this civil and friendly. And given that the topic is a serious one which has had serious repercussions for some of us ~ well, I just don't feel it's a wink-wink nudge-nudge time at Pets.

2 words... HA HA!
That actually did make me laugh!
You really have to appreciate the sense of humor, especially in light of all the tense moments
Thanks for that lovely mental image there, Melinda!
