Sure , I thought you would like to see this as I know you have cats . I was surprise too when I saw this on TV. That boy was lucky his cat was outside when the dog attacked him. I find it horrible that the dog owner allowed their dog outside on it own.

I saw my own cat do something similar when I was a child and a big dog chased our puppy.

That cat in the video should get a bravery award.

I agree , the cat sure should get a reward and all the catnip and treats it want. I hear the dog is going to be put down . I posted this on another forum I use and a person live in California and got updates on the story. The dog lived next door to the boy but I do not know what trigger the dog off to attack the poor child like that.

Total conjecture, but I wonder if the little bike the boy was riding made a squeaky sound that triggered the dog's prey drive.

There is a very strict leash law in California , when I moved there I was staying at friend's house with my dog and I had to go out . My friend was siting in her yard ands my dog was laying down in the yard an ACO drove by and saw my dog and took her to the pound . I could not believe it when I took back to the house and heard my dog was on private property minding her own business and got picked up by the ACO . That boy was very lucky his cat was there to protect him, I hate to think what that dog would had done to poor child. Who know why dog attacked the boy , I feel the owners of the dog where careless in allowing their dog to get into the boy's yard .
