Update on Wiley

Wile E. Coyote is at the vets, and will be there for a couple of days.
The vet told me that he has already been neutered and declawed....
I didn't even think to check his claws...but he has always been such
a gentle cat, I never thought of it. She is going to take care of his fleas,
and give him his booster and test him for any diseases.
She will also check his tail. She said she wasn't sure if the tail was
broke, but there was something going on there....so she will check him
all over. He is missing some of his teeth and she said that it was probably
because he was allergic to flea bites...and he is a very young cat.
She figured he was not older than three years and could actually be
younger than that. I took this picture of him before bringing him to
the vets...I told him to smile, but this is the best I could get....lol

Oh he's lovely, looks like he might have some Maine Coon in him. Is he a big boy?

Thanks

Thanks badger...The vet said that he is a MaineCoon and yes, he is
a big cat. His paws are very large compared to my other two cats.

He is really beautiful! He looks so intelligent. I,however, will never have another cat declawed. I have heard of a compound that can be put on their claws to dull them with no harm done to the cat.

I just read your other post and I am so glad that you took this guy in! It sounds like he is a sweet boy and lucky and SMART to have found you. Keep us posted on him and how everything works out for you.

Thanks Everyone

Thanks Everyone. I truly believe he will be a valuable
part of out little family, he is just so lovable.
Janie....personally I would never have a cat declawed,
I have two other cats who have not been done.
Unfortunately Wiley was done before he decided to
join our home. We have several scratching posts in our
house that get used regularly, lol.

Wiley sure picked the right deck to move on to. I believe in fate and you were meant to take in this poor kitty, declawed and put outside by his previous owners, shame on them . You are an for giving this kitty a better life.

Aww a Maine Coon and brown tabby to boot,he is beautiful and very lucky to have found you
People who declaw a poor cat, always say they'll be indoor cats, but more often than not they end up outside.
We get a beautiful orange cat in our back yard sometimes,it's pityfull to watch him not beeing able to scale our fence to run away, yes he's declawed
He lives across the street in a townhouse-complex,but the jerk owners let him roam..
