Ummm....Oatmeal?

Ok...Im feeling a little sheepish, because I usually look things up before feeding them to the dog, but this time...it was a spur of the moment "OMG Bennie, STOP DOING THAT!" and I sorta...gave him some cooked oatmeal, now Im thinking, "Wow stupid, Oatmeal?" And I was just wondering...is that allright? It wasnt like, sweetened or flavoured, and I vaguely remember someone long ago saying that if I mixed oatmeal with PB and froze it, the dog would go to town...but..well Now I feel a little silly lol.

Side note here, I dont do Oatmeal often, but we ran out of PB and I'm broke lol, so I have to wait a while to get more.

I have given oatmeal to my dogs as long as it has no sugar I cannot see anything wrong with it. Been there, being broke sucks but I hope things turn around for you. Get some recipes and make homemade cookies

hehehe, I am the worlds WORST baker lol, but I think I will look up a few more kong stuffing recipes lol, Bennie likes to lick the stuff out of his kong.

Im not complaining about being broke...I dont actually mean to throw that stuff on here, but sometimes I think and type at the same time lol. I get by, I just dont have the cash to keep Bennie in a supply of endless PB which is his new favorite since I started giving it to him lol

Hey we have all been broke. But amazingly the dog alway had food even if I didn't. I don't think your dog will care how good a baker you are

Lol I dont know, I think he is picky haha, Bennie always has food, I havent had to result to giving him my dinner, he always has the Bennie diet plan lol. If I were to have gotten to the point that I couldnt feed them, I wouldnt have pets, I would have given them to someone responsible who could afford to keep them healthy.. Bennie likes the oatmeal, and it took him more time to get it out of the kong lol. I wonder if I should freeze it next time ? :P That'll teach him to drive me crazy, give him a treat.....thats frooozen

I love my dog
