cat treats

So I've been experimenting with various treats for the cats and I have progressivley been buying more expensive snacks for them. We don't give them treats very often (and Finn won't eat them anyways, so I guess they're really just treats for Angus). Recently I bought some breath and dental care treats and Finn actually likes them and gobbles them right up. So my question is why won't she eat regular "meat flavoured" cheapy treats, but loves these strange and expensive dental treats with absolutely no meat product in them at all. Here's a list of ingredients for the dental treats.

Sunflower oil, wheat flour, corn starch, rice flour, wheat bran, dried skimmed milk, dried whole milk, water, natural flavouring, glycerin, sodium tripolyphosphate, salt, maltose syrup, eucalyptus oil, parsley seed oil, cinnamon oil, BHA (preservative), a-tocopherol acetate (vitamin e), vitamin a acetate, cholecalciferol (vitamin d3).

The treats are a crunchy shell with gooey insides.

And my next question, do you think I should continue feeding the cats these particular treats? Or are the ingredients just crap?

The ingredients are definitely subpar, but what worries me the most is the BHA. If you go here: http://www.dogfoodproject.com/index....badingredients and scroll about halfway down to the "Preservatives" section, you'll see why.

Yeah...I will definitely not be finishing that package, BHA=bad. Thanks for that website Prin, I've bookmarked it and will be visiting it whenever I get them something new to snack on.
