Where to buy Elk antlers
Hi All .......... I would like to buy some X-Large (minimum of 2.5 inches in diameter) Elk antlers for my GSD. I live in Ontario, Canada and cannot seem to find the right sized one's anywhere.

Can anyone offer some suggestions on where I may find some, either in person or on-line?

I get mine at Global but I don't know if they have any as large as you want. I'm thinking of trying http://biopaw.com/treatschewsnatural...k-c-1_108.html next time I need some. Their prices are pretty good and they seem to have the size you are looking for.

I checked out Biopaw and was about to order when I just realized that there is a Global Pet Foods location just down the street from where I live. I will check out Global tonight.

Update ............ checked out Global last night. They had a jumbo Elk antler available that was about 3.5 inches in diameter and about 10 inches long. It was $85. I passed. They also had a couple of extra-large ones that were about 1.5 to 2 inches in diameter and 10 inches long for $45. I also passed.

Just placed an order with Biopaw.

Update ........... a few days after I placed my order I received an e-mail from Bio-Paw stating that the shipment of antlers they received were of poor quality and they were not sure when they would receive more.

At least the refund was quick. I'll keep trying.

Found another supplier ...... www.homesalive.ca

I placed my order and got a reply back the next day stating that they were out of stock for the jumbo size and should be receiving a new shipment in a week or two.

I'll continue to keep you posted.

You might try Ren's Pet Foods if you are in the Halton region. They always seem to have a large selection of Elk antlers.
