Pimples on dog's testicles?

My younger doberman (he is just a little over a year) has gotten some pimples on his testicles. They actually look like zits, or like white-heads.

They do not irritate him at all (he is never picking or licking them), and we gave him a quick rince to keep him clean. Is this common? Or could this lead to a problem?

anyone experience this with their dog? and what did you do?

Yep, that sounds like dog acne! They usually present themselves around the pubic area or the chin, and are totally non-threatening to the dog. The only thing you may want to watch for is that the dog doesn't start to scratch them a lot, irritating the area and causing an infection. Other than that, if you're concerned, it's always good to have things looked at by the vet.

Food allergies can often be misdiagnosed as acne.

There is nothing to be worried about. I agree that seems to be acne. Just do not let your dog scratch the pimple. Observe also if there is presence of pus.

i was thinking that it might be acne - my older doberman had it all over his chin when he was a pup.

is there anything i should do for it? i was contemplating getting some baby wipes to keep the area clean...?

Baby wipes would be great. You can also use a solution of warm water and vinegar to keep the area clean, morning and night.
