Unhappy senior dog

13 year old beagle mix with hypothyroidism which he takes meds for daily has suddenly in last day gagging when he eats and falls down in spread eagle fashion and cant get up,when I help him he just slides back down' legs in not normal positions for him

The inability to swallow and the coordination problems are probably not related to the hypothyroidism. It sounds rather serious--I think a vet visit is in order. Sooner rather than later.

We have four geriatric dogs here--I love our seniors! I hope yours is back to normal again, soon. Please keep us updated on what the vet says.
