An Idea for Christmas.

Hi folks.

I know this is early. In fact waaay early, but I would like to share an idea that we would like to do for next Christmas.

My wife and I are at the point in our lives, that when it comes to Christmas - the usual routine is - what do you want for Christmas - I dont know. What do you want? It is sort of at the point where we dont really "need" much or "want" a lot of things.

Instead, we are planning to sponsor a pet for adoption at either our local Humane Society or one of the Rescue Groups for each other. Our hope is to give a chance for a new life to one who may not otherwise get that chance.

I hope that some who read this may think it over and maybe decide to give something similar a go. Wouldn't it be great to be able to make a difference?

Bill

Sounds like this is a geat idea!!!! So how will you do this? Just donate to the shelter/rescue? Again good idea, the shelters and the rescues can use all the help they cab get from the public. If you have time throughout the year you can always volunteer to walk dogs too. Or cuddle kitties. patti

We have X-mas presents for the animals only. We also make a donation to a rescue group. Also, we donate dog and cat food to the food bank.
We have all that is needed so we figure why not just donate and give back.

Our intention is to pay the adoption fees for a specific animal so that there are no adoption fees for his/her new family. I believe that we will also donate a bed and blanket for them so that they have something familiar when they go to their new home.

BenMax ..
Thats a wonderful as well.

It is always a good idea to donate to a Shelter; either in your own name, or in the name of someone you love.
