Pet Momento Ideas

I recently lost one of my dogs (German Shepherd) to kidney failure at the age of 13. He was there for me through thick and thin. Before passing away, I made a stepping stone with his paw print for the garden and got another one from the vet which I have resting on top of the scatterbox with his remains. Both are special mementos but I kind of would like another (different) type of momento.

I've been on Etsy and nothing really got my eye. Does anyone have any suggestion?

I made some scrapbooks and it is amazing what you can have printed these days and on what. A friend of ours lost their beloved German Shepherd and I had this awesome photo of the dog printed on a throw blanket and it turned out awesome....we had it printed through our local Costco...

Thanks for the suggestion about the throw blanket. I'm heading to Costco today and will check it out. I also decided to get a stuffed animal replica from this company: http://cuddleclones.go2cloud.org/SH8K

Got a bit clobbered with the US exchange rate but I found a coupon code on twitter: CUDDLEMYPET16 for 10% off.

Wow, rex--if you order from Cuddle Clones you have to post a review and tell us if the replica is as spot-on as the website examples are! Great idea for a memorial if they are!
