I read that this morning and now the THS,will have a free-for-all on cats/kittens in the March Break:sad:
Maybe many of those cats are a result from their last free cats deal at X-Mas!
I don't know what the solution could be for them, but giving cats/kittens away to anybody, don't seem very responsible:sad:

It lookd like the THS is overrun with dogs as well:sad: I was just on their website and they have SO many, and lots of GSD's.

It's so sad.
check out this guy, they say he's a mastiff, but he looks like a dogue de bordeaux (sp) to me? his name is BUBBA!

I hope they grill people before handing over a free moggie. I had a answer a bunch of Qs and promise to get my kitty spayed - and I have to go back and show them the paperwork when it gets done too!

I know some of the humane societies have pretty gruelling questionnaires for people who want to adopt cats - more stringent than the Qs I was asked. Let's hope the THS does too.

I don't think the solution is giving away cats either - that is irresponsible. They should find foster homes or something.
