Tabs needs a new home

Tabs needs a new foster home before Christmas because her current foster has a medical condition and has to move and cannot take Tabs with her.

Tabs is a quiet, gentle, longhaired tabby with large liquid gold eyes. Tabs
loves napping in a patch of sunshine and gets along well with the other cats
in the house. She enjoys chasing laser light beams and her favourite toy is
the Track Ball and she plays with it by herself for what seems to be hours
on end.

Tabs was rescued, along with her kittens, from a public park where she had
been living for at least a year. As a result of being left to her own
devices for so long and having had to raise kittens completely by herself
she is afraid of strangers and does not like being handled.

This is where Tabs needs your help. She will let her foster touch her when
she is eating but will not let her foster pick her up or touch her any other
time. Her foster lives alone so Tabs does not have the opportunity to meet
many other people and she hides when strangers come into the house.

Tabs needs someone who has the time and patience to work with her to help
her get over her fear of meeting new people and learn the pleasures of being
stroked and petted.

Tabs is up to date on all her vaccinations and has been spayed.
