Addiction Pet Foods

Well I was surfing last night and I came across a VERY interesting brand of canned cat food. My cat is raw fed, but I believes in variety and am thinking of adding a can of this stuff every week to her regime.

She is currently eating chicken, turkey, beef, and venison and I am attempting to locate rabbit, quail, and possibly emu. However, it is not likely that I will be able to find them and if not, I plan to add a bit of canned made with meat we can't get raw locally, and this food has caught my interest. It was developed for cats prone to allergies and is all grain-free.

I would like opinions.

It looks like a good product and I would give it a try if it was available here ..... but I've never seen it advertised in Canada.

No idea where you are but raw rabbit is generally accessible. My cat is also raw fed & she loves her rabbit.

Ingredients look good, certainly an interesting protein source.

The Canadian site shows stores that carry it in Vancouver, Ontario and Nova Scotia, plus online ordering.

The Global in Kingston carries it. My daughter tried some for her cat Ginger who has the EGC, but it didn't help.

Our local shop Metro Pet Market in Regina has brought some of this in. They have the dehydrated raw Fig'licious Venison and Summer Brushtail for dogs and the Salmon Bleu kibble for cats. We got a sample of the Brushtail to try with our Shi-Tzu Cleo and the Salmon Bleu for our cats. Will see what their reaction is and will post back.

For those in Saskatchewan, Metro Pet Market can be reached at www.metropetmarket.ca .. They carry an amazing variety of grain free foods and are passionate in all that they do.

Apparently it is available at at least one pet store in Vancouver.

I feed Addiction! Right now my dog's on a rotation - a mix of homecooked and Addiction salmon bleu dry as well as raw dehydrated. I LOVE this brand, I've always had really good experiences with their food and I think their ingredients are really good, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! We started on the brushtail some time back when I was looking for something that would help my dog's skin and coat, this food was such a godsend as his skin problems cleared up and he does well on it. I've since moved on to try the other flavors.

You can definitely buy it in Canada, list of stores :

I know that k9cuisine.com and onlynaturalpet.com carry it too.
