Big Brother is alive and well at Hazel Run
The Hazel Run Pack takes very good care of the Hazel Run Humans. This isn't as easy as it sounds because the Hazel Run Humans require constant vigilance.
Take today, for instance. The Hazel Run Daddy was fixing a drawer and needed some direction on how to go about the project. Deputy Brier was right there to help. "Yeah, drill right there..." "When you get that piece attached, the whole thing goes here..." "Holy cats, Mom! Dad is a messy worker, isn't he?"

Once the drawer was glued, screwed and clamped, the HRD put on his coat.
This, of course, required the entire Pack's attention since it seemed a Human was actually going to be leaving the house. "We'll help ya, Dad!" "Yeah, we're coming, too!" "Where are we going, anyway?" "Nowhere! It's too cold. You guys stay inside!"

"Can you see him?" "What's he doing out there?" "He's not lost, is he? " "Let me look!" "What's taking so long!" "Will we ever see him again!?!" "Oh, wait...here he comes!!"

"Hey, what took you so long, Dad! We were worried we'd lost you!"
"We won't lose you again, Dad. You can count on us!" "No worries, Dad! Okay! Escort form up, he's heading down the hall...." Just another vigilant day of Human-Watching at Hazel Run. the end

OMG Hazel!! I was just trying to get enough energy up to get up and go to bed when I saw your story. That is so sweet the way all the puppers watch daddy!! They want to make sure he is safe. I guess when he's at work it's pretty hard on their nerves, huh?
K, now I am going to bed..................

Depends on how cold it is. You'd be surprised how quickly 9 bodies can warm up our small bathrooms!
