lab breeder in/around New Brunswick....

Hi, I'm looking for an "english" style chocolate lab puppy. I live in southern New Brunswick and I'm having a hard time finding a breeder in NB or possibly another province as long as it's not too long of a drive. I'd appreciate any help... thanks.

Welcome to the board ! This forum is actually about dog breeds, not breeding ( it's okay others have made the same mistake ) and most of us work or volunteer in animal rescue or have rescued animals ourselves, as such we are VERY pro spay and neuter on this board.

Thanks.... so should I be posting my question on another forum? if so, which one?

Badger, I looked at that site and all of these dogs look to be in the US. Does it even show animals in Canada?

You could try going to the website of the Canadian Kennel Club or google Labrador Retriever clubs in New Brunswick and see what results you get on breeders in your area.

Yes, it shows Canadian rescue groups. See the place on the left of the screen, where you put in your preferences plus your postal code or province? Put only the letters of the province, no periods, like BC QC NB.
I guess there aren't any available chocolate labby pups in your region right now. You could send some of the groups near you a fax or an email so they can be on the lookout. It's crazy how many people give up purebred dogs, after they have paid good money to have one.
Good luck!
