I lOVE snow when it is not too cold out and the snow actually sticks together so u can make a snowman!!! We have not had that We don't even have that much snow. It has been WAY too cold to snow. School has been cancelled a couple of times, when it is below -47 they call it off.

My dogs still insist that we go out, so we bundle up and go, but I wish they would pay attention to the weather channel and maybe rethink it... toooo cold. It has been a really really cold winter here so far. It has not been warmer than -20 since december not even for one day, and a lot of days way in the -40's. ahhhh thats manitoba for you!! My brother lives in toronto now, his wife came last year to manitoba and she had never been here before hahaha, that will teach her to complain when she is at home and it is -15!! at least we get hot summers... the whole 3 months we have without snow!!

I find the weather in Edmonton much more enjoyable than here in Kingston. They have beautiful sunny days, not so much wind and it is a dry cold. As a teenager I didn't notice any difference between a Winnepeg winter than a Kingston winter, temp was lower, but the damp wind is horrible here.

I bundle up no differently here for a -10 walk, than I did for a -40 walk in Edmonton.

Ah yes Teri, and yeah we do have a snow plow, and I think four of us have snow tires.... But not me. I'm also in one of the higher elevation areas like Teri, and the dogs could walk right over the fence in the front yard last week. After a week of rain we now have about a foot of snow on the lawn, but the snow banks are still three to four feet high. I think we'll have those until June. This pic (sorry its so big, I'm just shocked it's here normally they don't load for me) is of Shadow (curly tail) and Halo checking out the first snowfall of many. They love it.

Aw thanks guys, then I see it's in the pets free pic section - oops. Figures I finally get a pic to load and it's in the wrong place. Oh well. But yeah like most doggies they LOVE the snow. Shadow is 11 and you can't slow her down in the snow.
