Question Bored Cat

Hi everyone,

My cat seems to be bored. I have bought her a bunch of toys that i thought would keep her busy but she doesn't seem at all interested in any of them.
I make a point to play with her everyday for a few minutes, and she loves it. I however can't play with her all the time as i have other things to do.

All she does is sleep most of the day and looks out of the window. A lot of times she will even fall asleep in the window.

I have also noticed that she will come up to me and meow a lot.

If you guys have any suggestions for me on how to keep my cat entertained, that would be great.

Thanks.

Get her another cat as a friend .

Cats often do much better in pairs. Mine rarely play together or cuddle but I believe they still like having another cat around.

I agree 100%,2 cats are always better than one, there are lots of kittens/cats who would love to be her friend in the shelters.

I agree, cats seem to be actually pretty social critters. Now once you start getting up in numbers they can make you crazy!!

There's lots of interactive toys available now. You know what I want to get for mine, is one of those boxes with all the little holes in the top and a ball inside. Petsmart has them. Noella likes those kind of toys. She's such a nosy little fart.

I'm pretty sure that I have seen an ehow video on YouTube that teaches you how to make one of those at home. They call it a cat puzzle.

I know a few minutes a day is not enough for my cats. More like 15 or 20. They don't play with each other either, rotten girls don't like each other.
