My Little Princess

Someone abandoned you 13 years ago
I found you and took you in
We shared so much, you were my little angel
Mommy set you free baby, so you don't have to suffer
As much as I didn't want to let you go yet, i couldn't let you suffer anymore
I held you in my arms while you slipped away quietly over to the Rainbow Bridge
RIP my little girl

Aww sweet baby

Everytime you turn a corner
she's there with you.
Everytime you sit down
she's there on your lap
Everytime you come home
she's there to greet you.

Know this even if you can't see or feel her

Copper'sMom, I'm so sorry for your loss After 13 years of your love, you know she'll wait for you at the Bridge. Your love was a gift that she'll always remember, just as you'll remember the happy times you shared!

Rest in peace, Princess kitty

Thanks everyone Your generous support to everyone who looses a loved pet, never ceases to amaze me. You are a wonderful bunch of people!!!!!!!!!!! I always know I can count on your support in these hard times as I have done this a few times here with my other kitties.

It was very unexpected, I always thought she'd be around forever. I took her in to the vet 2 months ago for wheezing. The vet said it was asthma. No big deal, depomedrol would help. I took her home and she was fine and went from fine to worse. She stopped eating and drinking and started eliminating outside of her litter box. She started wheezing bad.
They did xrays and saw something in her lungs. Long story short, she came home for 2 weeks on meds. She spent one night at the clinic and when she came home she seemed much better. But the meds didn't help her completely- I then knew for sure she was terminally ill. She had a lung tumour. We went back to be re-xrayed, but I already knew there was no need for it - and so did the vet. The tumours had in 2 weeks, spread into her tummy. Although the meds were keeping her eating, that was all. I knew I had a difficult deecision to make - and I wasn't prepared.

But i did what i had to do for her. She was such a special little girl - she was afraid of most everyone but me, and Copper and Zoe. She knew who her family was and that's all she cared about! What a girl! RIP my sweet little CJ aka Miss Miserable lol - that's what people always said - she looks miserable! It was her thing! lol

Oh my I feel so sad for you. It is so hard to put down a beloved pet, but you did the right thing by letting her go.

I'm so sorry, copper's Mom. I can't even imagine how painful it is to put one your fur babies to sleep. I envy your strength. CJ
