Fosterbabies settling in...

I couldn't post this in the foster thread, so I'm posting it here...

Here are the two baby fosters assuming the position that every dog gets into in this house...

Jemma is very reserved and I caught Boo growling at them... I'm trying to show them that they are puppies- my dogs have been harrassed by older, small fluffy black dogs before, so they have a reason to be apprehensive. Usually dogs sense that they are puppies, no? My dogs don't anyway.

So far they have come out for a walkabout but now they're back in their crate... Too tired for now I guess... I hope I can handle it... So far it doesn't seem like I can handle puppies and homework at the same time (the puppies win every time...)

Boo reluctantly with Doo...

They are so beautiful. How lucky you are to have them and how lucky they are to have you.

I'm so lucky to have such cute, loveable fosters. They're so lucky because they already have a good home to go to after us.

They're lying to me! They say they're too afraid to come out and they're all quiet, so I went to check up on them and their crate is full of toys!!!

Joey says those are my kind of doggies. You can never have enough toys in your bed.

I just love them. I soooooo have to get another one. I keep trying with Jim, but he won't give in! I tell him that Jesse would have someone else to bug instead of sitting on top of us all the time and that one doesn't work! I'm trying. Eventually I'll get my way!!

lol LR, I kept looking at Prin's Man to make sure he wasn't just humouring us but when he picked them up and one got a kiss, I knew he was hooked. It's great for them to get the additional socialisation and become accustomed to large dogs. Here's just too busy for them to come out of their shell quickly. Doolin and Kerry are very lucky to get a foster family to just fuss over them. Their new parents can't wait for them to be ready to go home and yes, they get to remain together.

Don't want to be a pain, but do the new owners know how extremely challenging and difficult it is to raise siblings?

What a cute picture. they probably got you at "WOOF"....they complete you Prin I think I got that out of a movie...just can't think of which one. But in all honesty four black guys and a cute boyfriend=ideal life, is what I say
I know you won't keep them but you should consider getting 2 more of your own.

They are extremely dog experienced and Daddy is like a little kid waiting for his friends to arrive. He didn't listen to any of our conversation the other night so Mommy called back to get it all straight and she was laughing as he was just too darned excited and I knew it. I kept repeating things and could tell they weren't sinking in. Thank heavens Mommy is far more sensible.

Happy Kerry... She has the goofiest happy dance. It's amazing to watch. She lifts her head high and shuts her eyes and smiles while wiggling around... It's so cute.

Last one for now, I promise... It's the cutest one yet. They can literally stay on the sofa for hours without moving. My babysitter!

BMD, you can tell the dad that Kerry is more independent (so far), more curious and is the ultimate newspaper shredder. She's also a pretty alert guard doggy.

Doolin is the quiet lover. He needs so much lovin' and attention but he won't ask for it until you stop. He's peaceful and more chilled out, but he understands the purpose of toys better than Kerry.

Both of them know not to bite fingers already, it's awesome. They also wag their tails so hard that they knock on the floor and make Jemma and Boo bark...

Very cute. I wonder what they'll be like after 13 more days...
