Dog food switch

I have decided to switch foods again. I bought a bag of Canidae today. It is much cheaper than the Natural Balance but that is not why I am changing. Hunter is scratching and biting at his legs and Chloe's ears are a bit dirty so I am wondering if it is the food. They are both shedding more than they were on the Solid Gold also. My question is how do you pronounce the name? Is it Can I day ??????

More like can ee day... Why Canidae though? Why not Barking at the Moon? Jemma was doing pretty well on it.

I've always heard it pronounced Can i (soft i) day. What Natural Balance formula were you feeding? It shouldn't have the same main ingredients as Canidae.

Can ee day

Prin
It is too hard for me to find Barking at the Moon. I am rarely on the island and go to my cottage every weekend which is located in the U.S. and don't have time to shop at home on weekdays. I use to travel 1hour and 40 minutes to buy the Wolf King but it is such a chore. There is a store not to far from my cottage that carries the Canidae so I decided to give it a try.

For years I was feeding Solid Gold, Wolf King and then when they changed the formula I switched my dogs to Natural Balance. I was feeding them both the venison and fish formulas.

I am still mourning the loss of the old Wolf King but hopefully will get over it when I find a food I am satisfied with.

Maybe we're both wrong.

Note the ae ending in group names: dog family, Canidae, ("CAN-id-ee" not "caniday")

LOL I don't know anybody who pronounces "larvae" as larvee... Every biologist I know says larvay. Just like antennae = antennay... Maybe it's a Quebec thing. Webster says larvee too...
