Hi, I belong(ed) to this forum for years; actually joined up years ago under user name "chihuahualover". I never had a chance to post often; and our "fur family" has grown from one Chi and a Chi-x to include a Coonhound, JRT, and manx kitty. We also changed emails, blah, blah, blah. SO I decided to just re-register w/a new user name.

I have just begun the process of putting my fur-babies in an album; (as you can see; they are all beautiful, sweet, SPOILED??pets.

I now volunteer part time; as my time/health permits. I am retired RN on disability (MS....sucks, but u learn to live w/it.; and raising a teen daughter w/my husband of almost 22 years.

Our long term/main goal is to build an "onsite" no kill shelter in which we could house most of our potential adoptees......still working on the $$ to erect the building, but the land is paid for (still quite an accomplishment). Always looking, looking, looking for ways to raise $$, meet expenses, etc. It will be totally awesome when this goal is met.....will be 1st (and only, but hopefully not last!!) no kill shelter in this area.
