New here

Hi all I'm new here and I have a few questions that I need some answers to.
I just bought a rabbit the other day and I do not know what breed or how old she is, the person I bought her from does not know what breed she is and the pesron told me that she is about 3 months old. I think she is younger then 3 months old she is very small. I would say she is around 1 1/2 to 2 months old. I would like to find out what breed she is as well. I think she is a she I have looked to see what sex it was and to me it looks like a female. I will post pics on here once I know how to do so of my bunny.

I hope to hear from someone soon and I hope to find out what breed my bunny is and how old she my be.
Thanks for reading and responding to my post.

It could just be a mix, rabbits can breed with any other rabbit and mixes are common.
My childhood friend used to have a cottontail as a pet which they let roam around their yard (they mistakenly thought it was a male).
Their neighbor had some kind of big black and white lop-eared rabbit, which they would let roam around their own yard.
Periodically one rabbit would get into the others yard and they ended up mating, so my friend ended up with little cottontail-mix bunnies.

Where did the person you bought from get the rabbit?

I'd love to help you out with anything that I can. Bunnies are my "thing". I love them!
It's sometimes hard to sex them because males are able to suck their testicles up into their abdomen (defence mechanism). The easiest way is to check the urogenital area and see if it's a circle or a slit (circle = male, slit = female).
Any other questions, I'd be glad to help you out with what I can.

I use Irfanview to compress the pics.

You can download it free at http://irfanview.com/ it's not a very big program and it's about the easiest way.

When you choose to save as a jpeg in irfanview it gives you a little window where you slide the slider to whichever setting you want. If you compress it to 60 or lower you're almost guaranteed to get it below 100.

You can also crop the photo and cut part of it out to make it smaller. You do this by putting a square around the part of the pic you want to keep (like you're going to cut and paste), and then clicking on "edit" and "crop selection". The part outside of the square will be deleted.

Under "image" on the toolbar in irfanview there's also an option that says "resize/resample". If you click on it, click on the little circle that says "set new size as percentage of original". You can choose how much smaller you want by typing in a number. For instance if you type in 50 the picture will become 50% smaller than it was.

Sorry, cannot see your pict - I love bunnies and am still mourning mine who lived a long life. The pet store should have been able to tell you the breed?? Have you contacted them? It could be a Dwarf - like a Dwarf Netherland bun - they are very popular (Mine was this breed). However, there are many other small varoeties - small lops, other types.
