Shasta has found a new home
 to my BirdIsEvil and DH for offering a new life to Shasta.Also to Shirley 1011 and DH for volunteering to transport Shasta to her new home.  that date can be arranged. Winston and I would like to thank everyone for your help and support.

Yay for a good news story. I am comfortable knowing that when my time comes my son will not abandon my pets in their time of need (nor will DH, but he'd have to fight my son for custody). It's good to know my pets are loved. Thank you to all who have helped to save this beautiful pup.

We're just trying to figure out the logistics of actually getting somewhere to pick her up! Hopefully we will be picking her up the week after next though.
And yeah, of course there will be lots of pics after she's here.

MBIE I cant thank you enough for being so kind hearted and opening your home to a senior dog who you are taking in without even meeting her! Shirley1011 BIG THANKYOU to you for helping us with the travel/transport and logistics! Sylvie who is the BIG HERO here thank you for beleiving in this gal! I cant wait to meet her on Tuesday! We will be heading up to Shirley1011's for the first part of Shasta's journey! I will try to post some pics.. Again, THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU to ALL involved and saving this gal's life! you all all hero's in my book!

Thanks everyone. My husband should be picking her up on the 2nd. I won't be able to go because of classes (I have some tests that week otherwise I'd go anyway) :sad:, but oh well, that's how things go sometimes!
I'd love to see more pics of her Winston. Since I can't meet her until she gets here, that will have to do for now.

My Bird Is evil I will do my best with the pics. My portion of the drive is only about 3 hours return so you should be able to see any pics before she arrives the next day! It'll give you a little something to look forward too! I still cant thank you enough for taking this gal into your home!
