Bloody stool
My kitten has blood in her stool and a few drops after she is finished. She has been treated for worms already and was tested for parasites. The vet had mentioned something about her body acting towards the carbs in her food, Iams kitten, which I am not happy with the answer, so here I am wondering if anyone can help!

Your vet could be right, the grains in cat food can cause food intolerance similar to allergies. If the colon gets irritated and inflammed it can cause diarrhea, blood and mucous. Grains are not natural foods for cats and are not necessary for nutritional purposes.
The best thing you can do for your kitty is to get her on a raw or high quality canned diet. http://maxshouse.com/feline_nutrition.htm http://www.thepetcenter.com/imtop/catsaredif.html http://www.catinfo.org/ Some great cat foods are: http://www.bynaturepetfoods.com/prod...nedcat.php#ttl http://www.naturesvariety.com/instinct_cat_can This company also carries are great prepared raw diet . http://www.wellnesspetfood.com/cat_w...can_index.html
