Miss Kitty

During the last month of Flip's life, a new stray showed up at my back door. I would feed her at night and the next morning she would still be there. I posted her( I did not know the sex)picture on various sites. One week after Flip passed, I took the cat to the local vet hoping for a microchip. No such luck. The last thing that I wanted was a cat that would outlive me. But I reasoned that I could give her a good life for a few years. Little did I know that I know that she would pass before me.
Miss Kitty gave me two two years of love. How I will miss her meows when I asked her where the pretty girl was, the good girl, meow meow, birdies, etc.
She was so talkative. Sleeping beside me, waking me up at 0500, jumping up on me on the recliner and her head butting.
Recently diagnosed with asthma taking prednisone, flovent and ventolin. Just too much for her with a weak heart. She passed at 0415 hours this morning. Rest in peace, sweet kitty. And only approximately 5 years old.

I'm so sorry, woofendog! *hugs* Miss Kitty brightened your life as you undoubtedly brightened hers. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for your kind comments. When Flip passed someone sent me Miss Kitty. Sitting in the backyard reminiscing about my time with Miss Kitty and waiting for the next stray. Life goes on.

Sorry to hear about your recent losses of Flip and Miss Kitty. Wish to pass on our condolences. Situations like this can be pretty heart breaking especially as we age.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes especially as you age and more so if you live alone. This cat loved to talk. Mixed Maine Coon/Norwegian Forest cat as per purina.ca identification. Diagnosed as asthma. Turns out she had a tumor on the lung along with a weak heart.
She was not enjoying a good quality of life.
Back to feeding the stray cats that wander into my backyard.
