MN Renaissance Festival!

My Mom and I were vendors at the MN Ren Fest this weekend! It was a very long three days where we got up at 5am, got there at 6am to set up each day, and didn't get home until 8pm each night! Sales were very slow for everyone in general unfortunately, but we got a lot of really positive feedback at least. And we got to see the Twin Cities K9 Disc Club perform and got free admission into the Ren Fest, so that was cool. A few pics from this weekend!

Our little booth area!

Jelly! I ordered the same costume for Belle, but it didn't arrive in time, so these will be their halloween costumes next year.

Some of our more unique customers that got collars!

I thought this was a fun booth by the MN Pitbull Rescue:

Looks like it was a wonderful venue. Too bad sales were slow but I'm sure you gave out lots of business cards. Maybe closer to the holidays you will see some action. I bet if you went to a few sales that were pet oriented you would make a ton!
Just gotta ask why you are ordering things from somewhere else for PBandJ when your mom sews so wonderfully?

Thanks everyone!!!!! LOL, 14+, I know, I know! We were too busy sewing up product as we expected much higher volume than what we actually got, so we didn't have time to make our costumes and had to buy them all. As it turns out, we could have made half the amount we did and our costumes, and still have plenty left over. Ah well, live and learn. I love going to the Ren Fest anyway though so it was still fun to spend so much time there and I LOVED the dog shows by the Disc Club! They were incredible! I can't remember the one dog's name, but he was state champion!

I loved that bunny!!! He was from a rabbit rescue group booth nearby! The foster mom got him a cat collar for tags as he loves to go on walks. SO cute! I was tempted to adopt him, LOL! We were also next door to an Iguana rescue. I wasn't so tempted to adopt one of those guys, lol.

Looks like a great weekend! Maybe not so many sales, but you got the name out there and that will pay off in the end And, as 14+ mentioned, the holidays are just around the corner!

Where do they hold the Ren Fest? I keep hearing it advertised here, but always miss the part where they give the location (madame hazel's impeccable timing )

That looks like so much fun, I would love to go to one of those! I love Jelly's costume too! I didn't see a bunny though...there was something in a stroller that I couldn't figure out what it was,,,my bad eyes. Was THAT the bunny? Going back and having another look. LOL

The dog that was on America's Got Talent should of been in that disc show!

Thanks, Smiley! One of these summers I'm actually going to make it over there! Maybe next year...I have a friend who used to go every year. I've got to remember to call her next year when I start seeing the ads!

Great pictures Smiley, some of those action shots are amazing .

How did the furries like working for the day? I see Petey hanging out in the first shot and Jelly looks adorable in her costume .
